every months Gerda Steiner gives a free stamp away, if you played along the challenge, only the first you have to buy... So you can collect 12 stamps in the year... isn't it cool :)

Sleeping Cat...

Ok, this month is the challenge to color a sleeping cat in a book shelf... At first I wasn't sure, what I will made... I am a cute and CAS card maker and so I was waiting, till I find my inspiration.

Inspiration

A book shelf is on a wall... In my home there are all walls white, but on a card it looks boring only white!? So I decided my to made a color wall, but not to colorful :) I found in my Stuff a Digital Paper from Whimsy Stamp, who fits perfectly (Snowdrop Digital Paper). After than I add my stamp from Gerda Steiner... I decided me to color it softly with my Distress Ink and a water brush (fine one)...

I cut my card smaller and add a few brown stripe on both sides, before I add it to the white card base. The sentiment is from Hero Arts "Many everyday messages"... A great stamp set for all occasioned.

Where you will find the challenge?

You can click here :) I will look forward to your card with this wonderful stamp.

I cut out my image with a Scissor and let a small white border. I use an A2 card base and use an stencil technique for the background. At first I use a green Distress Oxide Ink and use my brush to bring this on the paper, after the first step I took my stencil and made step nr.2... On my card you can see the result.

you made the rainy days brighter

I bought the last monthly kit from Simon Says Stamp  (March 2018) and I love the products :) So I made a few cards.

Why I made this card?

I looked first, if I can play with a challenge by SSS. I found one. I found an easter theme challenge

SSSMonday Challenge

I will made a card with the cute little duck. I love cute critters and I wish me, that SSS made a lot of kits with great little critters.

How I made my card?

I stamp the duck on a Copic friendly paper and colored him, for add details I use also a few pencils (Prisma). I cut the duck out with my scissor. I cut a white rectangle (2.75x 3 14/16 Inch). I use my hill stencil from MFT and distress the bottom with a green, also I distress bigger clouds in a grew tone. I stamp again the duck and colored the water on the ground, also I add with my pencil grass to the hill and rain drops (blue stripe). Now I add the duck on the stamped image on the distressed piece... I add glossy accent to the puddle, also to the beak and add a few raindrops. After drying the glossy accent I add details with a white gel pen. I stamped the sentiment fromm the same stamp set, like the duck ("Showers and Flowers").

My card...

I cut a red paper  a little bigger the the piece with the duck and glue it together. At last I add it to the card base (A2 format).

Thanks so much for visit my blog and for your lovely comment :)

Showers and Flowers - Bunny

I bought the last monthly kit from Simon Says Stamp  (March 2018) and I love the products :) So I made a few cards.

Why I made this card?

I looked first, if I can play with a challenge by SSS. I found one. Easter inspiration with a color scheme, also one with the theme easter... So I will made a card who fits for both challenges...

SSSMonday Challenge

So I wasn't sure, what I will made and looked in my SSS stuff. I found the "Showers and Flowers" stamp set and I think I will use the cute bunny :) to made an easter card.

How I made my card?

I stamp the bunny on a Copic friendly paper and colored him, for add details I use also a few pencils (Prisma). I cut the bunny with my scissor and let a small white border. Now I cut a 3x4,25Inch white paper and distress it with a blue ink. I also colored the grass with Distress ink and cut it our with a grassy Die from Lawn Fawn. So I have two grass pieces. I glue the grass on the blue distress item, but the second I glue only on the bottom, because I glue the bunny between. I add a few butterflies from my Hero Arts monthly kit (February 2018). The sentiment is from the stamp set "Choose Joy".

My card...

I cut an American size paper in half and score it in the middle. So I have a blank A2 card. I cut the border from the Lacy Border set from Lawn Fawn, used a brown paper from my stuff. At last I add the piece with foam tape to the card base and add a few details with a white gel pen. Also I add a Pom Pom to the bunny (it is from the kit).

Thanks so much for visit my blog and for your lovely comment :)

Choose Joy

I bought the last monthly kit from Simon Says Stamp  (March 2018) and I love the products :) So I made a few cards.

Why I made this card?

I looked first, if I can play with a challenge by SSS. I found one. Easter inspiration with a color scheme...

SSS Challenge
So I wasn't sure, what I will made and looked in my SSS stuff. I found the "Choose Joy" stamp set and I think it will be great to made my own background.

How I made my card?

I stamped the flowers and leaves on a Copic friendly paper. After than I use different colors for the flowers (pink/ violett combination) for the leaves (pale green combination) and a blue for the background, I add dots with my blender. I search a pink card too. It looks so boring, so I decide me to stamp also the background :)

My card...

Before I add the flower background to my card base I decided me to add some black strips (here two glitter paper strips). I cut word HELLO from "Winnie and Walter" 6 x and glue it together. After I use my Versamark and stamp a layer ink on the word. So I add a black embossing powder and the heat it tool... I made again a layer of Versamark and add this time holographic power and melt it.... So it looks great :) That you can see better the word I add a velum piece behind and finish the card...

GD Create a Smile "Springtime"

How exciting? I can show my card by Create a Smile, what for a honor... THANKS so much... Here is my inspiration from me to you.

Why I made this card?

I decide me to color flowers, because I am still practicing to color realistic flowers. So I bought the stamp set "Kroküsse" and I am not sure about the arrangement...

How I made my card?

I stamped one flower in the middle and the others around, using masking technique. After than I use watercolor (I used Schmicke Color) and prepare my flowers and my background. I search a similar flower picture in the internet. After watercolor is dry, I began to color with my pencils (Prisma). I add some shadow...

My card...

I prepare a card base from 4x5.5Inch. I cut my coloration 2.75x4Inch. Now I need stripe, I found one in my stuff from MFT, I think black and white will be work fanatic. So I add the strip and after than I add the coloration on the base. At least I use some pearls from my stuff and finish my card :)

birthdays in the month of March

In March a lot of great people have birthday in this month... I haven't enough cards...

My idea

....for this card was the inspiration from the CAS challenge... Hmmm I searched all my stamps from Create a Smile and thought what I will made. Why not a cake with a CAS Topping...

This is the result:

How I made this card?

I stamp the frog from the stamp kit "Sei kein Frosch" on the paper, after than I draw by myself a cake and changed the frog (is the frog with the leave in the hand) and decor than. After than I color the frog and cake with my Prismacolors. I cut out the image. I cut an A4 in 2 A2 cards (4x5,5 Inch). Now I use a green color and a blue color from my Distress ink for the background. and stamp the sentiment on the card too... At last I glue the frog cake on the card and finish it....

Scrappers Delights New Release Week

It is New Release week by Scrapper's Delights :)

Today I can show, what I made with the wonderful image, called "Spring-Equinox" from Janice.

I colored the lady with my Prismapencils and add a dress, because it is better to cut for a card... The lady looks like a queen  bee or what do you think? The sentiment is from Create a Smile and means a small card, burly fluttered only for you.

New Release by Whimsy Stamps Coffee Friend

Welcome to RELEASE Week at Whimsy
We have some amazing new stamps, sentiments and papers to share with you I really hope you will stop by and take look at the NEW RELEASES.

This time I made a card with the New Release "Say it big" Sentiments and an older stamp set "Coffee Break". I printed the words (Coffee I wrote by myself) with my Laser Printer. After than I cut the card in an A2 format and foiled the letters... Now I masking the coffee cup and stamped it twice time. I colored with my Prismapencils, for the paper effect I use Gamsol, normally I don't use it... but for this technique it is great. I finished the card with shadows and a smile (stamp set from Simon Say Stamps).... also a paperstrip, from my stuff....

Hope you like this idea and coffee.... Have a great break :)

Thanks for your lovely words.

GD New Release The Paper Nest Dolls, Welcome

For a few weeks Christine from The Paper Nest Dolls  ask me, if I want to play with her great digital stamps and I said yes... So I worked on two  projects for the New Release...

I colored the bunny with my Prismacolors and add an Ink with Masking in the background. I gave this card to a family member, they will get her baby in June. So I added a few gifts like an calendar, so she can every week open a new one, till the baby comes....

The second card I colored on the Creativeworld in Frankfurt with the new Watercolors from Altenew. The colors are very bright and work great... So I thought this time I will not use extra pencil over the colors, that you can see how great they are.

Thanks for visit my blog :)
