Scrappers Delights New Release "Do more of what you makes you happy"

Today is New Release time by Scrappers Delights and this time you get a new planner image...
a girl sitting on a crafting table...

So I love to color and add this great sentiment by my self on the top of the card...

Here  is the link in the shop for the Digital Stamp :)

I colored the image with my Luminance Pencils...

Thanks for visit my blog and for your lovely comment!

Your Jokes are always A-Moose-ing.

It is still time to play with the Lawnfawnatics Challenge Inspiration Mood Board

Last night for European people came the new inspiration video from Kristina Werner... She was making a card with a sketch in collaboration with Jennifer McQuire and I love this idea so much... So I would to make my own card like this...

Here you can look the fantastic video...

Inspired from this idea, I made this with the color scheme from the current challenge from Lawnfawnatics and create a new card...

My background I used Distress Ink from Tim Holtz (mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, peacock feathers --> for the sky/ old paper, Shabby shutters --> for the gras, also add a few structure with my Luminance pencils) After distressing I colored my son and dad moose with my Copics (E39/35/33) and add texture with Alcoholspray and a fabric...

....instead the white in the mountains I colored this with my silver gelpen, because my white don't covered the grey line.... I also add dots for a few stars and flowers...

Here is my card, hope you like the other version of the sketch:

...a morning sunrise card , somewhere in the mountains...

Have a great day :)

Thanks for stoping by and for your lovely comment.

Dragons are magical

A magical car, with a dragon family on a secret place behind a forest or maybe in an opening in the forest... Who knows... It is a peaceful scene... and I used not so different colors... So sometime the dragons to go missing in the background...

I used the stamp set "Magical Dragons", also I used items from the "Cooler with you stamp kit"... For coloring I used Prismapencil's and Distress Oxide Ink... I love to made no line technique...

I haven't no time too, because my card I made for the MFT innovation challenge, don't fit to the theme, it was a card with chibi tronics and glow with light... but no special 3 D effects... I will share the card later :) So I have to git to work and I have an idea... So I used the time to made the card fast as I can, but also the card must look professional...

I did it :) I am not sure, if I have to add something, because looks so greenish. If you have any ideas, please let me know :)

My favorite Things "YETI"

At this time runs by My favorite things more than one challenge... The challenge for me is, to made a card, with only material from this company... I haven't any inks from them so I decided me to use a light one for the no line technique and my Distress ink mini cube for a rainbow background.

So I began to color with my Prismacolor Pencils... At first I think I made a scene with all Yeti's but I think two will be enough for a Clean and Simple card :)

I love the cute little Yeti's... I add google eyes to them... The best will come... What for a beautiful sentiment... I am a christian, so I know who will come :) Because of that holds the one Yeti a star in the hand...

#57 Tic Tac Toe

Heute startet wieder eine neue Herausforderung bei
Today starts a new challenge by

baste-traum/ BLOG

This time it goes around the theme Tic Tac Toe. A card, a picture or a giftbox... but why not a invitation to a restaurant/ in cinema/ etc.... Now I am curious, how will you show your friend your friendship/ love on paper? Which scene will you use?  I am glad to see your inspiration...

This is my inspiration.

Gerda Steiner have two great stamp sets, which I show here (Party Animals/ Go Wild).
I decided me to made two cards, so I can show you two different cards... you can see, you have a lot of possibilities.

Clean & Simple/ Gold/ Stencil

From the whole Zoo, hubby birthday to you... the critter are awesome and fits perfect to this sentiment. I used the masking technique, that I can stamp more animals to this card. I colored all with my ZIG real brushes. With my NUVO Mousse gold over an MFT stencil I made the stripes on this card...

Punkte (dots)/ niedlich (cute) design/ Stencil

Punkte (dots)/ niedlich (cute) design/ Stencil

Hier is my second card, I used all both stamp set from Gerda Steiner. At first I stamped again with masking technique the car and the critters, I color it with my ZIG Real Brushes and cut it with my scissors. The background I made with a stencil from Moda Scrap and Texture paste, which I colored with Distress ink, too that I can made a rainbow color effect. I add a paper to the background too. Also I cut out a birthday Sentiment 3 times(I forgot which company), I glue this together and the last I used Versamark and glitter embossing... The happy comes from the stamp set (Hayyp Threes from Mama Elephant)... To the lights I add glowing in the dark yellow from Nuvo.

Thanks so much for visiting me and for your lovely comment :)

Aquarelle Chimpanzee

Since a while ago I search time for made a draw... As I was young, before I know cardmaking I draw picture with pencils or Acryl... this was years ago, before I was a mum :)

Yesterday I decide me to try it again, but I want to play with my Aquarelle from LUKAS

...and this is the result from my drawing...

How I do this kind of art?
I searched a picture from an chimpanzee and choose the paper (Boesner aquarelle 300). After than I made a sketch with a soft pencil, so I can erase lines...
... and this is like mine sketch look's...

...after than I look to a color scheme (brown, grey and black colors for the fur/ yellow, ocher, orange and grey tones for the skin/ green, blue tones for the background)...
I start to play with the colors and the brushes and start this journey :)

I try to bring in shadows and lights... to bring live into the picture... a mother with her baby... a moment with a lot of joy :) So I layered also the picture... I bring color and more color and end this picture with a friendly and easy background...

...at the last I add with my Prismapencils a few accents...

I hope you like it too, maybe you try your own drawing.. . and if you made your own one, than I will be honored if you send me the link in the comments below :)

Hugs and greetings... Ute

Lawn Fawn Fall Scene

This time I made a fall scene with the new products fromLawn Fawn...

How I do this card?

  1. I prepare the Die cuts for the background, used "Stitched Hillside Backdrops: Portrait"
  2. Now I used different Distress Oxide Ink for made the night sky and the grass...
moon: fossilized amber and wild honey
night sky: seedless preserve, salty ocean, black soot
grass: lucky clover, walnut stain and black soot
I decide later, that I also use the Grassy Hillside Borders, also I used lucky clover ink...
  3. I stamped all images on my paper with a light ink (I prefer SSS Barley Beige, get this with a kit, but you can buy it separately..). If you haven't it, so you can use any light ink, but it must work with the color medium you used. ( Used follow stamps: "Happy Hauting and Costume Party")
  4. Now it comes the fun coloring part... I can't say what names of the color my Prismapencils had, because mostly I look with my eyes and decide spontan. I try the no line technique. Isn't it cute?
  5. After coloring I hand cut the images and glue it to the card.
  6. I add a Sentiment, also from a Lawn Fawn stamp set (Woodgrain Backdrops) and embossed this in white.
  7. At last I add googly eyes and glitter to the kids costumes... also the stars with a silver gelpen.
I bought all my items from bastel-traum.ch. Check the shop... :) or use your prefer shop...

Lawn Fawn Winter Scene

Today I worked on a winter scene with Lawn Fawn Products...

I used first the Die "Stitched Hillside Backdrops: Landscape" to prepare the card. After than I used the Distress ink "tumbled Glass" and a cloud mask to made the sky... I add birds from the Hero Art Monthly kit. I decide me to bring mountain to this card, so I cut one mountain (Stitched Mountain Borders" strip to a white paper... With the Distress ink Oxide "iced spruce" I colored them, with my Distress tool, a little bit water, at finish the snow tops...Noe the bear family form the new release "Beary Happy Holidays" also the sentiment.

Now I put all together... and bring a little dimension in the card.

If you haven a US Letter Paper, than you can also use an A4 Paper, cut at 5,5 Inch and Score 4 1/4 Inch... Now you will miss a little paper, because A4 (EU) isn't so big, like the US Letter... I cover the inside with a strip of patterns orange paper, so I have inside an accent :)
